In the hours of twilight
I go back centuries
into a world of grand
standings
grand wars, grand romances
grand conquests and grand palaces.
That grandeur aimed
at immortality.
I know the immortality
of the cycle
of birth-life-death.
And I learn to celebrate
without light
the cycle that
goes on and on
inside every cell of mine.
I like the use of black andwhite in this work which accentuates the solid rocks and the edifice of the ancient church in the background.
