Dusk crept into the room
surreptitiously
and caught me
unawares,
as I was lost in
my reverie.
There's so much happening
on the outside
moving, back and forth
up and down
take-off and landing.
Inside my whole world
is at a stand still.
I stand on the cusp
and watch the beauty
of it
all.
